Your role as Test Automation Engineer at TOPIC:
As a (Senior) Test Automation Engineer you are part of the TOPIC Test Group and involved in state-of-the-art projects for a variety of customers in the high-tech industry. Your projects can have a wide range of responsibilities and activities; from automating test cases and development of new keyword libraries to setting up a test framework from scratch. You will contribute to the test architecture, strategy and test specification. As an advisor for our customer, you will be involved in translating strategy into solutions and technology choices. You will inspire, coach and motivate developers to strive for quality and you will support them in creating objective, reproducible and maintainable automated tests.

At TOPIC we want to ensure our continuous involvement in innovative areas. We therefore support research projects that investigate methods and tools for the future of testing. We often carry out projects on the Robot framework with programming languages such as Python and C#, but you will also have the opportunity to display and expand your knowledge on other technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Azure DevOps, REST, SOAP.
