Ensure AmbaFlex’ worldwide tax compliance, what does that mean?Well to start with, it’s about VAT and corporate income taxes in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Not in every country the amounts are staggering but the complexity lies with the fact you know, our will know, everything that’s needed to support local financial departments in various financial maturity phases in all tax related issues. In some countries we are already settled for years, in others we just started-up and in others we are going to start operating. And you will guide and help every branch to be tax compliant. The biggest part of your daily work consists of project orientated tasks and about a third is answering questions and guiding your colleagues abroad to solutions. 

Your main tasks as our Global Tax Manager:

• Set up and maintain a fiscal knowledge database as a corporate memory and communication tool, regarding corporate income tax, trade tax (VAT), wage tax, withholding taxes and other applicable taxes.
• Coordinate and maintain the master and local transfer pricing files in cooperation with external advisors and manager.
• Coordinate, maintain and monitor the tax control framework in cooperation with external advisors and managers.
• Monitor (international) tax returns and support employees and external advisors with their filings.
• Perform internal audits on key fiscal controls and their risks/exposures.
• Manage external tax audits.
• Review group structure and investments in light of changing tax legislations.
• Make suggestions to further optimize the tax structure including estimating possible legal implications.
• Maintain a good relationship with the (foreign) tax authorities.
• Handle (ad hoc) tax related issues.

You are ready to fulfill our position of Global Tax Manager. You have a solid 10-year experience in the field of international taxes. You are an independent professional and know what it takes to ensure tax compliancy in several different countries, it’s really on you! Despite being independent you are also excellent in cooperation and communication.

You are able to fill out your own position independently and develop the specialism further. You are at your best working in a fast-changing environment where you can tackle new topics every week. Furthermore, the following aspects are important for this job:

• Master's degree in tax law or finance
• Experience in documenting and analyzing transfer pricing files and tax control frameworks.
• Good command of the English and Dutch language. 
• Strong drive with a hands-on, structured, accurate and result oriented working style.
• Ownership of issues from start to finalization.
• Good time management skills and able to manage towards tight deadlines.
• Able to cope with a dynamic and changing environment.
• Interest in the corresponding legal aspects.
