We are looking for a process & equipment engineer for the Process, Equipment and Instrumentation department of Siemens Energy.

Siemens Energy in Zoeterwoude is the leading HRSG supplier. The heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) they produce are important components of many power plants: They substantially increase a plant’s overall efficiency, and help to minimize the costs of fuel. You also benefit from greater flexibility when operating at part load during load changes or by simply utilizing one of our diverter bypass stack systems.  

In the role of process & equipment engineer, work will be done in a project team and the engineer will be technically responsible for the process calculations and the equipment in the Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs). Process calculations are for example related to sound, insulation, control valves, safety valves and blow down systems. You will prepare the technical specifications for equipment like drums, steam silencers and burners and will review the supplier’s quotations and documentation. For all these activities the engineer will be in close contact with the project team and shall assure that contractual requirements are met.
