For our client, an International B/focused company in Zoetermeer, we are recruiting a fulltime (40 hrs.) Financial Analyst.

The Financial Analyst will take responsibility for managing and delivering different aspects of financial control for the business. As a Financial Analyst this role will support different aspects of the financial control function and ensure the team delivers a consistently high-quality service to their internal stakeholders whilst ensuring the business works within a robust and appropriate internal control environment. In this position you will report directly to the Finance Director. 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include

Accounts payable

• Processing expense invoices in workflow system
• Allocation of expenses into cost unit and cost centers
• Prepare supplier payments
• Weekly follow-up and analysis of the creditors list
• Daily contact with stakeholders in our Dutch head office

Bank reconciliation

• Daily processing of the bank statements
• Matching between sales per payment method and cash in (PayPal, PaySquare, credit card, iDeal)
• Weekly follow-up on cash reconciliation including balances per payment type
• Daily contact with customers with respect to payments

Accounts receivable

• Maintaining debtor cards
• Process payment and invoice matching related to specific sales channels
• Support in the process of sending out reminders and refunding customers
• Assistance in the process of preparing monthly accruals

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably SPD;
• 2-4 years working experience in an accounting department, preferably in a commercial environment;
• Sufficient knowledge of accounting, accounting systems and procedures;
• Experience with Exact Globe is considered a big plus;
• Ambition and curiosity to drive the team and yourself on a daily basis to the best performance possible;
• Ambition to develop yourself and grow within the team;
• Advanced Excel experience;
• Proficiency in Dutch and English (both spoken and written).
