Job Description

As a production employee in the galvanizing department, you are responsible for all tasks that come up during the galvanizing process. Together with your colleagues and the foreman, you make sure the workplace is safe and tidy, so everyone can get to work as well as possible.

You immediately see whether the material is suitable for galvanizing and free from things like paint residue or oil layers. After the first check, the galvanizing process can begin and you hang the material on the rails. You can imagine that there is a long rail, which makes working with the galvanizing bath efficient and effective.

After dipping the material into the galvanizing bath, you remove it from the rails again and check whether it has the correct coating thickness and appearance.

By carrying out all these tasks, the best projects can be created and delivered all across the Netherlands.

Job Requirements

• Vocational education level
• A lifting certificate is a plus
• Interest in metal or the products, or some knowledge of them
• A learning mindset and motivated attitude
• Living in the Wolvega area

Salary and Benefits

• A full-time position in day shift, 2 shifts based on a 40-hour work week
• Salary between €2,750 and €3,135 based on 40 hours and depending on age and experience, excluding shift allowance
• 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance
• Shift allowance of 14%
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km, above 10 km
