We have a vacancy for a dedicated Logistics Customer Service Officer to join our team based in Wessem. For this role, you will be processing orders, preparing correspondence and fulfilling customer needs within a busy logistics environment, so excellent communication skills are required along with the ability to think on your feet and work as part of a team.

What You Do On a Typical Day

• Be the first point of contact for customer queries — whether it's by phone, email, or face-to-face — and make every interaction a positive one
• Investigate and resolve issues with care and efficiency, ensuring our customers feel heard and supported
• Keep accurate records of customer interactions, helping us continuously improve how we serve
• Use your initiative to handle routine queries and know when to escalate more complex matters
• Create clear and helpful documentation when customers need written support or follow-up
• Collaborate with managers and teams to suggest improvements and enhance the customer experience
• Champion safety by following GXO’s health & safety standards and contributing to a safe workplace for everyone
• Support sustainability efforts by helping reduce our environmental impact and contributing to green initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement by staying aligned with legal standards and GXO’s commitment to excellence

What You Need To Succeed At GXO

• Minimum required education: Intermediate Vocational Education in logistics, supply chain management or equivalent
• Knowledge of customer service processes within a logistics environment is required
• Strong customer and internal communication skills are a must
• Excellent oral and written skills in English essential, with at least one other language, such as Dutch, Polish, Romanian desirable
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for data management, reporting and daily customer service operations
• You are a team player, accurate and stress resistant
