Within Vanderlande, around 350 Software developers, testers, architects and project leaders are working each day to deliver our HLC (High Level Control software) solutions for Vanderlande's customers. In our department all architects and project leaders are housed, where all the Warehousing and Parcel software project's activities are governed, both on content and delivery. Due to the growth of Vanderlande we are currently looking for a Senior IT Solutions Project Leader.

Task Description

The project leader will lead software development projects for Warehousing Systems. These software projects are part of multidisciplinary projects usually consisting out of mechanical, electromechanical, SCADA, Low Level Control, IT and High Level Control. Typically, these projects have a duration of one to two years of specification, development and testing, commissioning and integration support on site.

As a Project Leader you will be responsible for leading a team of Project and Test Engineers on a daily base next to regular alignment with software product teams who are working according to agile methodology (scrum). Stakeholder management, planning & tracking, change management, progress reporting and budget reporting will also be part of your daily job. Good communication skills, people skills, as well as hand-on oriented and process driven are key.

Responsibilities

The Project Leader is an important stakeholder towards product teams; a pro-active way of working is therefore key. Furthermore you are able to impact the R&D organization regarding execution interests. You will also act as an intermediary, bringing together stakeholders from relevant disciplines.
