Linux IT Specialist

Due to growth of Linux in our corporate environment we require a Linux specialist. We need someone that is capable of taking ownership of our Linux service and is able to lead, decide direction and make sure the service adds actual benefit for Vanderlande processes and it's employees. You are also serious about infrastructure automation and are willing to invest your time in it. You will work in the internal ICT Operations & Core Systems department within Vanderlande working closely with colleagues that represent other services including datacenter technologies, campus network, workplaces and many others.

Your responsibilities

·       As the service owner of Linux you manage, maintain and improve our Linux environment and it's management platform. This includes both virtual CentOS servers, a small set of physical Ubuntu clients and AWX/Ansible for management.

·       Improve our service level by automating tasks and prevent incidents with pro-active monitoring.

·       Bring your expertise of automation to automate your own tasks and help other service owners with the same
