Job description

Applications are invited for appointment as Tenure-Track Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law (Ref.: 536701), to commence on September 1, 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal and with consideration for tenure before the expiry of the second three-year fixed-term contract. Suitably qualified applicants may be considered for direct tenure.

The Faculty of Law is the longest established law school in Hong Kong. It plays a leading role in legal education in Hong Kong and Asia.

The Faculty welcomes applications from outstanding candidates in all areas of legal scholarship, and particularly those who specialize in the following areas: criminal law, contract law, corporate and commercial law, public law, tort law and international law.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 15% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave, professional leave and medical benefits. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
