Job description

The Department of Urban Planning and Design invites applications for Post-Doctoral Fellow positions in AI Agents for BIM and Construction (several posts) (Ref. no. 536609). Appointments will commence as soon as possible, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding availability.

Responsibilities

Conduct research and develop AI agents/skills applied to BIM/IFC and construction workflows

Requirements

  • A PhD’s degree; AI-native; Highly fluent with tools like Codex or Claude Code (or equivalents), and can leverage them to learn and solve new and complex problems rapidly; Strong judgment, and can quickly evaluate what works, what doesn’t, and why; and If you can think, prototype, and build effectively with AI, we want to hear from you.
