Job description

Research Assistant Professor in Finance in Faculty of Business and Economics

Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor in Finance in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 536713), to commence on September 1, 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in finance or a related business discipline, and demonstrate strong potential for high-quality research in areas such as disclosure, capital markets and ESG. The appointee is expected to engage in high-quality scholarly research and teaching, and should be capable of teaching at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels. Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level will be an advantage.
