Purpose of the job:

• Manage Supplier's portfolio (Internal and/or External suppliers) for ensuring goods delivery at right time and place based on Alstom needs for both service and project business;
• Express delivery needs to suppliers and contribute to governance of the Supplier's delivery performances;
• Drive action plan for performance improvement.

Reporting lines/location

Reports directly to Material Planning management reporting to Supply Chain Manager.

Location:

Depending on the hiring service plant the location will be stationed in Ridderkerk NL and/or Bruges BE with the possibility to work remotely and occasionally travelling between these sites.

Missions

• Express delivery needs to suppliers using dedicated tools;
• Follow up deliveries and ensure the availability of goods for Alstom service and projects parts;
• Monitor Suppliers performances KPI's;
• Participate/lead Supplier performance improvement;
• Contribute with SC inputs for supplier selection;
• Contribute to the project SC objectives and targets by ensuring material planning and ERP settings are in line with these objectives.

Tasks:

• Ensuring proactive monitoring of purchase requisitions and purchase orders for both internal and external suppliers.
• Supplier Delivery Performance Management, expediting on order confirmations, backlog, set up improvement plan with supplier and Procurement department;
• Facilitating (return) shipments to the supplier, such as taking care of Return Material Authorization (RMA) and initiating associated outbound deliveries;
• Maintaining supplier relationships (e.g. arranging communication channels between supplier and Alstom organization etc.);
• Resolve Goods Receipts issues with the applied means of communication (shortage, damage, documentation, quantity mismatch, Invoices, etc.);
• Tracking of missing parts until stock availability;
• Maintain supplier and delivery-related data in the ERP system (SAP);
• Optimize (minimum) order quantities, re-order points, safety stock levels;
• Act on missing parts in production/supply chain and blocked stock due to non-conformities (ncr’s);
• Analyze and share deliveries performances KPI's with different stakeholders (Internal & External);
• Manage sub-contracting shipments / kitting.
