Employee Technical Service / Handy Man

Are you technically gifted and do you get energy from solving, repairing and improving? As a Technical Service Employee, you ensure that our installations, buildings and facilities continue to function optimally. You tackle malfunctions and technical challenges with both hands.

You will be based at our headquarters in Pernis. You will also travel with the Neele‑Vat TD work bus to our locations at Maasvlakte, Pernis and Waalhaven.

What will you do

• Perform repairs and reactive maintenance on plant and equipment.
• Fix malfunctions and ensure a quick, safe solution.
• Record all work directly into the facility management system via tablet.
• Performing hand and hand services from A to Z, such as hanging, assembling, moving, removing and advising.
• Identifying defects not (yet) reported and coordinating this with the TD coordinator.
• Work according to applicable safety rules and procedures, including working with work permits.

What to bring

• A completed MBO degree, preferably towards engineering (MTS or similar).
• 3‑5 years of relevant work experience in a technical or facilities environment.
• Good command of the Dutch language (oral and written) and English (oral).
• Two right hands, a hands‑on mentality and a proactive attitude.
• Flexible and service‑oriented: you like to take work and worries off your hands.
• Pre: VCA‑basis or VOL, AWP and VOP (NEN 3140) certificate, or willing to obtain these.
