Role Summary

CHC Helicopter has an opportunity for a commercial contract manager within the Airbus and Leonardo Category team. This high-profile position is reporting directly to the Senior Contract Manager Airbus, Bell, Leonardo and Engines and is responsible for managing the contract and relations in order to reduce the cost and improving the Turn a round time for our Aircraft in the fleet. The specialist will analyse spend, manage contracts and collaborate with planners/buyers for these fleet. The contract manager will be utilizing formal supply chain processes and relevant tools to secure material and repair services in support of internal / external customers and operations. Accountable for defining internal needs, analyzing the supply market, and developing and implementing sourcing strategies; moreover, the contract manager will be responsible for identifying alternate sources, design and develop strategies and creating sound business cases to support their recommendations for lowest cost to support highest quality work.

The Senior Contract Manager can be based in Oude Meer (NL), Rzeszow (PL) or Stavanger (NO). 

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for conducting spend analytics to support Senior Category Manager

Analyze and manipulate multiple data streams to support sourcing strategy development; able to look across categories to ensure the full “global” opportunity is addressedfor CHC as well as for the Heli-One brand

Design and roll out RFX’s, RFX including event setup, supplier engagement activities and bid analysis

Support in the implementation of new contracts including price book development and setup

Lead negotiation and execution of contactsand manage the relationships and performance targets

Escalation of critical orders to support aircraft return to service requirements

Tracking of cost saving initiatives

Expected to manage multiple projects depending on company initiatives

Motivate and inspire team members by creating an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

Education:

Undergraduate degree required; Supply Chain or Business focus preferred, Engineering desirable

Experience :

A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience within a global environment i.e. logistics supply chain, accounting, economics, financial analysis

Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Understanding of Engines

Computer Savvy (Data handling, Analysis, Microsoft)

Certification / Skills:

English Skill – Business Advanced (Communication, email)

High communication/Negotiation/Collaboration skills with internal /external stakeholders

Effective stakeholder management

Excellent quantitative and analytical skills

Strong organizational skills and leadership

Project management skills

Strong Business English, French and/or Italian is a plus
