Work Preparer – Keep High-Tech Aerospace Projects Running Smoothly

Wat ga je doen?

As a Work Preparer, you are the link between planning, production, and engineering. You ensure that all activities are properly prepared so production and integration processes can run efficiently and on schedule.
You will coordinate materials, resources, documentation, and work instructions while maintaining a clear overview in a dynamic technical environment. You will also contribute to process optimization and digital improvement initiatives within the department.
Your responsibilities include:
• Creating and maintaining integrated production and project planning
• Monitoring work sequences, lead times, resource allocation, and facility usage
• Adjusting planning when changes occur and coordinating the impact with relevant stakeholders
• Identifying bottlenecks and improvement opportunities within operational processes
• Supporting and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensuring the availability of required materials, tools, equipment, and resources
• Processing inventory transfers within the MRP system
• Creating purchase requests based on operational needs
• Monitoring and maintaining KPI reporting
• Supporting second-line troubleshooting for machines and tools when required
• Reviewing technical drawings and documentation
• Preparing work instructions and procedures for assembly and testing activities
• Creating complete work packages and managing project completion documentation
• Preparing logistics and shipping documentation when needed
In this role, you will work closely with AIT Managers, Team Leaders, and colleagues from production and engineering. You will report to the Head of AIT or Head of Production.

• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
• Proactive attitude and sense of ownership
• Experience with SAP
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Nice to have• Dutch language skills
• Experience within a high-tech or technical production environment
