Who are you?

You are a senior QA Tester or Engineer, who is capable of assessing the quality of web-applications through manual and automated testing.

We are looking for someone who takes the initiative and knows how to embed good QA in an organization.

You have a great eye for detail,  able to set your own priorities, and have strong communication skills.

You have experience as a senior QA tester or engineer, and you like to be responsible for the quality of our products, which are already trusted by our many customers.

Who are we?

We are a fast-growing scale-up, developing and delivering large web-applications in the ed-tech market. We currently have a team of 26 people, with several nationalities, and a 50/50 male to female ratio. Our software is being used for digital testing & examination, designing online learning paths and building ePortfolios.

Our software is flexible and has a lot of features and possibilities, that have a tight integration with many of our customers. We have a very high customer satisfaction rate and are proud of what we make.

Our company has its office in a former more then 100-year-old school building, in a green environment near Nijkerk and Amersfoort. We have a flat and open organizational culture and work with a young but experienced team of developers, implementation specialists, service desk and sales employees.

You will first be part of the 'RemindoTest' exam application team, but can later cross over to other teams and products as well.

What are you going to do?

You will be working on our existing software product, which is already being used on a very large scale by well-known organizations in the Netherlands. At the same time, we have ambitions to rapidly scale up internationally, giving you a huge user base that will really profit from your work.

Together with our software development team(s), you will make sure everything the team delivers holds up to our high quality standards;

• You will help set up, document and implement a rigid testing process across our organisation;
• You will help the team with determining the functionalities and specifications of each story;
• You will write test cases for new and existing functionalities and automate them whenever needed;
• You monitor logs and collect customer feedback and translate them in stories our developers can work on.

What are we looking for?

You recognize yourself in the following description:

• You have a high education level, or you can demonstrate thinking and working at that level;
• Knowledge about setting up a testing processes in a software development organization;
• Experience in setting up automated tests, preferably in Cypress or a similar tool;
• A keen eye for detail and capable of understanding and communicating the wishes of our customers;
• Some knowledge about software development of web-applications (in our case: PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript);
• Capable of testing API’s using specialized tools such as Postman;
• Like working in a SCRUM-team;
• Like working with other nationalities;
• Communicates to developers and other stakeholders effectively;
• You are able to have a good overview of what needs to be done, set and communicate your priorities;
• Does research to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best-practices;
• Confident in giving your opinion, but are also eager to learn from others;
• Having a software testing certification (like ISTQB) is an advantage;
• You are fluent in English and can understand Dutch at an intermediate level.
