You work at one of two reception locations in South
Limburg, where you work alongside a committed and motivated team to
provide structure, guidance, and a safe environment for residents
on a daily basis.
The location is open throughout
the day. Your shifts run from 08:00–15:15, 12:00–20:00, or
14:45–22:00, including weekends. We will agree together on which
shifts suit you best, but we do ask for a minimum availability of
21 hours per week and a flexible attitude.

At our refugee reception locations, you have the
opportunity to make a real impact. As a Residential Support Worker,
you support residents in their daily lives while encouraging their
personal development.
You are not only the
driving force behind the activities programme for young people, but
also someone who spots opportunities and takes immediate action.
With your proactive mindset and empathetic approach, you create
structure, connection, and a safe
environment.
Your
responsibilities:
- Activity guidance:
You organise and supervise daily activities such as language
classes, sports sessions, and creative
workshops.
- Resident engagement: You actively
involve residents and tailor activities to their needs, talents,
and interests.
- Volunteer coordination: Together
with the Location Coordinator, you coordinate the deployment of
volunteers and support them in their
role.
- Creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere:
You contribute to a warm and respectful environment where everyone
feels seen and welcome.
- Taking initiative and
improving: You spot where tasks are being left unfinished, address
these proactively, and contribute ideas for improving the
activities programme.
- Observing and reporting:
You maintain a visible presence, offer a listening ear, and relay
important observations to the Location
Coordinator.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
- A gross hourly wage of €18.12 (including
year-end bonus);
- Supplements for irregular
hours: 175% on Saturdays and 200% on Sundays;
- A
full 13th month salary — included in your hourly
rate;
- Travel expense reimbursement, 8% holiday
pay, and a contract with the prospect of long-term
collaboration;
