Description

As a (senior) global product manager you are involved in developing and managing a distinctive market leading portfolio within the area of floor and wall tiles. You are responsible for ensuring the system product lines & selected collections are up to date and in line with customer needs and Mosa strategy. You make it possible for Mosa to introduce new products and systems while working in a dynamic, deadline driven environment.

In this dynamic and challenging role you are responsible for specific product line(s) strategy and roadmaps. You prepare business cases for new product development and product line extensions in the short and long term for your product line(s). As project lead you drive the product creation process and ensure timely planning and milestone delivery. Working closely with Innovation, R&D, Development Engineering (Partners), Industrial Designers, Category Management and Sales you enjoy collaborating cross functions. Reporting directly to the Head of Product Marketing, your main tasks includes the following:

• Creating Global annual product line strategies and roadmaps (systems & collections)
• Understand customer requirements and translate into value propositions & product/system specifications (user, product, technical, critical to quality & warranty)
• Managing cross functional global system development projects from idea generation to mass production to product introduction in a timely manner
• Product System positioning, market and competitor analysis & database updates
• Regular Product line analysis, identifying and implementing corrective actions
• Proposing & Implementing assortment rationalisation, pruning and phase out activities
• Initiating, managing and implementing Product cost down, aftercare, quality improvement activities
• Co creation of required market introduction material, instruction & user manuals, selling tools and delivery of new product training to the sales organisation
• Product system expert and ambassador internally and externally
