Business Analyst

The job

You get energy from collecting and analyzing relevant data. As a Business Analyst you identify and generate key analytics to support the commercial and financial operations in order to meet the company goals such as margin and volume improvement. You make different recurring analyses in the SAP Analytics Cloud tool and Excel. You create dashboards, reports and analyses in order to highlight the results of the company’s activity and its market. You report to the Commercial Finance Manager EMEA.

Your tasks:

• Generate daily sales reports and market information reports;
• Create, manage and present dashboards for internal customers and key stakeholders;
• Gain insight into the numbers and identify important insights;
• Translate business challenges to analytical questions;
• Constantly looking for improvement of reporting systems;
• Ensuring that all business decision-makers use standard data and insights;
• Support the periodic forecasting process, both for operational planning and financial planning;
• Price / margin / volume analysis;
• Reference prices;
• Monitoring cost and market price developments;
• Participation in (international) group projects.

Profile candidate:

• A completed Bachelor degree in a Business, Marketing or Economics;
• Has excellent analytical skills, in order to master the reports produced by computersoftware and to understand their meaning in business terms;
• Excellent production and reporting skills (Excel / Powerpoint);
• Prior experience with data visualization tools is a plus;
• Good command of the Dutch and English language, both written and spoken (German is a plus).
