Over onze klant Our client is a global logistics and supply chain company specialising in delivering integrated freight forwarding, logistics, and technology solutions. The location in Hoofddorp has over 200 employees with 50 different nationalities. They have a flat company structure with a "no nonsense" culture. Functie - Coordinate and manage air freight shipments from start to finish. - Gather and prepare all required shipment and export documentation. - Maintain accurate shipment status updates and detailed administrative records. - Book shipments with airlines and negotiate carrier rates to optimize costs. - Communicate clearly with customers, carriers, and internal teams. - Provide proactive customer updates and report issues immediately. - Identify and resolve problems with strong attention to detail. - Take initiative to improve processes and develop new working methods. - Work in a customer- and service-oriented manner at all times. - Collaborate effectively within the team, considering different interests and impacts of decisions. Profiel - The ability to obtain a VGB-document (8+ years in the EU). - Proven experience with airfreight. - Proficient in English, Dutch is a bonus. - Careful and accurate. - Able to handle stress. - Willingness to work in three shifts: 6:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-6:00 6 working days followed by 4 days off.
