Tasks & responsibilities of the Business Controller in Hoofddorp
Review and coordinate the month end reporting pack including P/L, B/S analysisProvides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial dataManage the production of the yearly Budget exercise, eventual periodic forecasts and update of the 5YPPrepares budgets by establishing schedules collecting, analysing, and consolidating financial data recommending plansGuides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and proceduresReview investment cases for submitting to Group ManagementParticipate to the definition of a comprehensive set of KPIs to monitor Business PerformanceCompare actual results vs. approved Business cases (EBITDA, ROCEs)Efficiency Plans promote, follow-up and execute Profit and Balance sheet Improvement actions across the Business UnitAnalyse functions overheads at Business Unit and Country levelRecommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of BU operationsCalculate variances from the budget and report significant issues together with action plans to managementReinforce the use of Hyperion and BPC as Group reporting tools and create/upgrade reports so the financial info is produced semi-automatically for review/analysisSeek improvements in the Company's information systems (manual and electronic)Identify and evaluate areas for improvement of profitLead/participate to new projects implementationProtect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidentialContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededParticipate to Monthly Business Unit Performance Review meetingsRequirements
