Within the service department, as a Field Service Engineer you are partly responsible for repairing (parts of) machines and/or restoring software so that they can be used again as quickly as possible. You analyze the cause of malfunctions and resolve them, carry out repairs and make various adjustments where necessary.

Malfunctions can occur within all specializations (hardware, software, mechanics, processes and tooling) and can have multiple causes. You identify and report commercial and technical (improvement) opportunities to your manager.

You also generate reports for the customer and process order data for invoicing. Ordering small materials and booking parts in the warehouse is also part of your duties.

You are the point of contact for the customer and the business card of the company. Since the company is an international player, you regularly perform your work abroad.

The following is required:

You have at least completed a secondary vocational education (MBO) in electrical engineering or mechatronics;

At least several years of relevant experience in a similar position;

A good command of the Dutch and English language, both oral and written;

-Knowledge of the German and French language is an advantage

-Willing to travel
-An expert in analyzing and solving malfunctions

-Stress-resistant

-Commercial insight

-In possession of a driving license B
