Director/Senior Manager Production

Are you interested in playing a crucial role in the production of top-notch pharmaceuticals? We are currently seeking a committed Associate Director/Senior Manager Production for a pharmaceutical company in Haarlem.

As the Associate Director/Senior Manager Production in our Operations Department, you’ll lead a dynamic team and play a pivotal role in achieving the long-term objectives and annual plans of the unit. You’ll be accountable for the parenteral production facility, including bulk manufacturing and packaging. You’re the conductor of our production symphony, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. From creating top-quality products to motivating your team and maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards, your role is the backbone of our success.

Responsibilities:

Manage and lead daily production shifts, overseeing all production activities

Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining safety and quality standards

Lead and support optimization projects to improve production processes

Introduce new production lines and processes

Implement operational excellence (OPEX) principles to boost productivity

Manage resources effectively and collaborate with other departments

Mentor and guide the Production Supervisor Team

Identify and close skill gaps through on-the-job coaching and training

Spot and groom talent to support their growth

Maintain data integrity in production

Act as an emergency manager until the arrival of an SLT member in case of a crisis

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

At least 5 years of experience managing a production department

Experience with pharmaceutical production preferred

Experience with operational excellence (OPEX) and Belt certification a bonus

Strong understanding of production processes and quality standards

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus

Salary Range: The salary midpoint for this position is € 91k per year depending on experience and qualifications.
