The Master Data steward is accountable for ensuring the quality of the Master Data put in SAP and that the master data structure within SAP is set up in alignment with a best in class governance process.  

He/she is responsible for coordinating master data from multiple regions ensuring high quality master data. 

This person must have the ability to envision the linkage data structures from a global perspective as well as aligning with local master data providers.

Responsibilities:

Master Data

Set up planning master data in SAP and OMP;

This starts with local input from workflows together with centrally added master data;

It is important to ensure an accurate and complete setup of the transportation routes and zones over different units within Corbion depending on where the material will be produced, sold or bought;

Ensuring the linkage of master globally, alignment with material master data and ensures proper structure for reporting;

Train and support the regional teams to enrich the current master set up in the SAP material master module including but not limited to: data related to supply chain, purchase info records, source lists other data to ensure an accurate planning;

Managing master data in satellite systems that impact transactions in SAP.

Data Quality

Data mining exercises to identify quality issues, root causes, and resolution based on best practices;

Periodically audit data to identify areas that require additional focus.

Data Governance

Ensure proper control and change management across the global regions;

Establish and enforce data policies and process improvements;

Establish key metrics, report creation, and complex data extractions;

Train and support the regional master data providers to properly define the master data required in SAP;

Support implementation of master data governance tooling.
