The future Finance organisation will allow a focused approach to Finance Business Partnering and Finance Business Services. The accountability and execution of Finance activities which are not specific to a business will be moved to a shared organisation: Etex Business Services - Finance.

The financial controller for Etex Business Services - Finance (EBS) is supporting the two plants based in Delfzijl and Goor. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and processing/analysing financial data in order to report monthly/annual financial results. In addition, you also will be responsible for the overall balance sheet and managing any risk items. You will work closely with the finance manager and business controller and report to the Regional Head of Etex Business Services - Finance who is based in the UK.

• Drive the period end closing (month and year end);
• Perform month to month analysis during the closing, in order to check integrity, consistency and reasonableness of the account's balances;
• Operate full accounting of Holding companies if applicable (all activities end to end process);
• Ensuring statutory reporting of legal entities, IFRS/GAAP compliance;
• Supporting rolling forecast & annual target setting processes;
• Administrative cost control;
• Safeguarding Tax Compliance (Income and VAT);
• Drive pre/after closing meetings;
• Prepare and deliver requested information to external auditors based on core finance and ensure strong collaboration;
• Support Management reporting;
• Balance sheet management including the monitoring of assets and liabilities;
• Securing internal controls and risk management;
• Support Treasury activities (hedging, capital structure follow-up and warnings);
• Support mergers & acquisitions, Transfer pricing.
