Demand Planner (SABIC 1363)

Demand Planner (SABIC 1363)

Yacht Geleen (6165BS)

Contract: Uren: 40 - 40Salaris:

Job description

The SCP department contributes to optimizing business revenues, costs and working capital, by matching demand with our supply capabilities and securing an uninterrupted Order to Cash process. Balancing logistical costs and customer service levels often implies making tradeoffs, usually in close alignment with Business Management, Sales, Manufacturing, Technology and other Supply Chain departments.

The Demand Planner is responsible for our demand planning process and uses historical data, statistical forecasting methods and market intelligence to come up with the best possible forecast that is used as input to our S&OP process; a critical step to ensure the right customer service level.

A Demand Planner acts as a linking pin between other departments, such as Business and Sales, keeps a close eye on market dynamics and initiates appropriate actions in order to contribute to SABIC’s bottom-line result in the best possible way.

The Demand Planner will voice the SCM view and drives value creation by means of defining, designing and executing supply chain related, cross-departmental improvement projects.
