As Continuous Improvement Project manager you are responsible for driving continuous improvement (NWoW) projects and programs in RWE Generation, while ensuring sustainable implementation. You will be part of a new team with a direct reporting line to the Head of Knowledge Management & Change.
Your tasks
- Support the (local) leadership teams to lead NWoW Projects within RWE Generation
- Ensure delivery of the projects within time, budget and scope in close dialogue with your customer
- Provide expertise, structure and ideas to support the business to optimise their daily activities and processes
- Develop and monitor detailed schedules, scope and budgets. Manage and resolve issues on operational level by applying NWoW
Methodology
- Challenge and coach local leadership teams, employees and NWoW project teams
- Define and align required resources according to project requirements and keep an active dialogue with the (local) management
- Ensure development of know-how and skills within the project team and the organisation
- Align NWoW Projects with the management team(s) and the NWoW PMO of RWE Generation
- Act as ambassador and role model for NWoW. Support the NWoW community of RWE Generation to develop the NWoW standards
- Drive continuous improvement
Your profile
- University degree or equivalent in business economics, engineering or comparable
- Background in power station and/or Project Management
- Experience on project management methodology and tools
- Lean Management and/or Change Management experience preferred
- Ability to motivate and convince others by passionate and convincing appearance
- Ability to communicate effectively on different levels within the organisation
- Analytical, conceptual and organisational skills
- Good relationship-building skills
- Good team-working, presenting and coaching skills
- Willingness to learn and teach new methodologies and tools
- Willingness to travel depending on the location of the actual project
- Business fluent in English, Dutch or German beneficial, commitment to learn the language
