What You'll Do:
Gather information about the required materials and services through factory employees and managers.
Contact and select suppliers.
Negotiate prices and conditions.
Communicate the agreed conditions to purchasing staff for further follow-up.
Build a good relationship with suppliers for long-term cooperation.
Proactively search for alternatives and improvements to achieve the most beneficial situation.
Question and renegotiate the contracts.
Search for synergies across 2 sites in the Netherlands, in close collaboration with the purchasing team, internal contacts and the global Etex Purchasing community. What you’ll bring:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or economics.
Strong commercial attitude.
Strong negotiating skills.
Proactive approach and ability to work independently.
Planning and organizing skills (determining priorities).
Strong communication skills.
Fluency in Dutch and English.
