This role partners closely with Principal Trainers to ensure users gain proficiency in workflows, data entry, and documentation.
The position includes classroom instruction, curriculum support, and hands-on assistance during go-live events, making it ideal for candidates passionate about training, technology adoption, and healthcare operations. Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions (in-person and virtual) for clinicians, physicians, and non-clinical staff
• Facilitate study halls, labs, and interactive learning sessions (typically one 5-hour session per day)
• Apply adult learning principles to maintain an engaging and effective learning environment
• Prepare training materials, rosters, and environments prior to sessions
• Administer and report on end-user competency assessments
• Provide real-time, at-the-elbow support during system go-live events
• Collaborate with Principal Trainers to improve curriculum, job aids, and training materials
• Assist in testing training environments and system updates to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Monitor training effectiveness and provide feedback for continuous improvement
• Communicate effectively with learners and stakeholders, addressing questions and follow-ups promptly

Required Qualifications

• Must obtain Credentialed Trainer status within 6 weeks (includes exams and teaching evaluations with a required passing score of 85%+)
• 5+ years of experience in learning facilitation, training, or a related role
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in training content and delivery methods
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom)
• Strong interpersonal skills with a supportive and approachable demeanor
• Enthusiasm for technology and ability to promote system adoption

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate s degree or higher (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in healthcare or clinical environments
• Background in adult learning, instructional design, or learning management systems (e.g., Cornerstone)
• Prior training, coaching, or preceptor experience
• Familiarity with change management principles
• Previous Epic training or implementation experience
