The Head of Risk & Fraud is responsible for developing and leading the company’s strategy to identify, assess, and mitigate financial, regulatory, and operational risks, with a strong focus on fraud prevention across all iGaming products. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, protects company revenue, and safeguards player integrity.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive framework to detect and prevent fraud, collusion, match-fixing, and exploitation.
• Oversee real-time monitoring and post-event audits of gameplay to identify anomalies or suspicious patterns.
• Collaborate with Analytics teams to build and enhance integrity detection tools, including risk scoring models and behavioural monitoring.
• Lead investigations into potential integrity breaches and coordinate responses with relevant stakeholders.
• Identify and assess operational and strategic risks affecting game fairness, compliance, and company reputation.
• Build and maintain a risk register and develop mitigation plans across multiple business units.
• Implement and maintain early warning systems and incident response protocols for emerging threats.
• Partner with Compliance and Security teams to ensure alignment with regulatory and cybersecurity standards.
• Ensure adherence to local and international gaming regulations, including responsible gaming policies.
• Liaise with regulators, law enforcement agencies, and integrity bodies as required.
• Prepare regular integrity and risk reports for executive leadership and the Board.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Risk and Fraud professionals, including recruitment where required.
• Promote a culture of integrity, ethical gameplay, and risk awareness across the organisation.
• Work closely with Product, Analytics, Legal, Operations, and Account Management teams to embed integrity principles throughout product development and player interactions.
• Advise senior leadership on strategic risk trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in Risk, Fraud, or Payments within the iGaming industry.
• Strong understanding of fraud typologies, including bonus abuse, identity fraud, and payment fraud.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Experience leading and developing multi-functional teams.
