Technical experiments - you design and
execute experiments that validate hypotheses, reduce technical
uncertainty and guide technology and product decisions.
Concept development - you develop system concepts,
technical models and solution approaches that enable the next
generation of the technology.
System
decomposition - you break complex technical challenges into
manageable functions, subsystems, interfaces and deliverable work
packages.
Multidisciplinary collaboration -
you work closely with experts in chemistry, materials, electronics,
mechanics and product qualification.
Architecture support - you contribute to system
architecture, technology roadmaps and technical decision-making
throughout product development.
Analysis and
modelling - you build prototypes and measurement setups, analyse
data from real tests and combine that with solid theoretical
modelling to uncover root causes.
Functie-eisen
Must-haves

or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of
experience as a system engineer in a high-tech multidisciplinary
environment, including chemistry.
Strong
understanding of the physical, chemical and electrical processes
governing electrophoretic devices.
Proven
system thinking: you decompose complex problems into subsystems
with clear requirements, specifications and interfaces, and you see
dependencies and system behaviour.
Analytical
depth: you design experiments, analyse data and draw clear
conclusions.

management methodologies.
Experience in a
start-up or scale-up environment.
Dutch
language skills.
