Job description

As a Control Systems Integrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating control systems within complex high-tech environments. You will work closely with system architects, software engineers, and mechatronics specialists to bring systems from prototype stage to final product. Your focus will be on optimizing the performance, stability, and reliability of advanced machines and motion control systems. What will you do? - Design and implement controllers and software interfaces for both custom-built and standard control platforms. - Integrate, configure, and troubleshoot real-time control systems. - Perform machine calibrations and controller tuning to achieve optimal performance and stability. - Analyze system behavior and implement improvements based on test results. - Develop tools for simulation, data analysis, diagnostics, and visualization. - Develop and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation environments. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to successfully integrate and validate complex systems. You ensure that complex high-tech systems work together seamlessly. As a Control Systems Integrator, you will design, integrate, and optimize real-time control systems for applications within the semiconductor industry, robotics, and precision technology. You combine hardware, software, and control engineering into one reliable and high-performing system. In addition, you have: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. - At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position. - Experience with real-time controller integration, machine calibration, controller tuning, and controller design. - Experience with one or more of the following tools: MATLAB/Simulink, TwinCAT, Python, and LabVIEW. - Experience with testing, validation, and ensuring reliable system performance. - Experience within high-tech industries such as semiconductor equipment, robotics, positioning systems, or laser communication systems. - Strong communication skills and a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written. - Must live in Netherlands, within 50 km of Eindhoven.
