About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer/Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in TIBCO Spotfire and Microsoft Power BI.

The successful candidate will design, develop, optimize, and support enterprise-grade dashboards, interactive visualizations, and data models. The role requires someone who can effectively connect technical data solutions with business requirements to deliver accurate, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and BI reports using TIBCO Spotfire and Power BI.
• Build and optimize data models to support reporting and analytics requirements.
• Perform data transformation and prepare data for visualization.
• Develop and maintain data integrations using Spotfire and SQL.
• Optimize existing dashboards, reports, and data models for performance and usability.
• Support the migration of legacy TIBCO Spotfire reports to Power BI.
• Assist with technical migration planning, execution, testing, and validation.
• Validate migrated reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Translate business needs into effective BI solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve dashboard, reporting, and data-related issues.
• Support continuous improvement of enterprise BI capabilities.

Must-Have Skills

• TIBCO Spotfire – strong hands-on development experience.
• Microsoft Power BI – strong hands-on development experience.
• Strong business intelligence and data visualization experience.
• Experience developing enterprise dashboards and interactive reports.
• Strong data modelling and transformation skills.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with data integration and reporting solutions.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders.
• Experience supporting or leading BI migration projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience migrating TIBCO Spotfire to Power BI.
• Experience with legacy BI modernization programmes.
• Performance optimization of enterprise BI solutions.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Knowledge of BI governance and reporting standards.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate combines strong technical BI development skills with excellent business communication. They should be able to work independently across the full BI lifecycle, from understanding business requirements and preparing data through to dashboard development, migration, validation, and ongoing optimization.
