“Augmented Reality / Artificial Intelligence on a construction site”

Data science and automation is a key part of our strategy in being a data driven company. We already automate part of our design process through external and self-made apps. This helps us get better results, quicker. At the same time, we can create more output with the same amount of people.

With this research opportunity you will investigate the possibilities of AR/AI on the construction site. For example, monitoring construction sites with smart cameras that detect safety risks. Or, can an application check whether we have built according to our 3D model with augmented reality? How can we check/validate our buildings during the construction phase? We believe AR will help us with this and we need you to help us out. You will talk to our project managers and find out where they need help. You will then find a solution and help create a proof of concept. You will test the software, write recommendations, and help us forward in digitizing the construction site.
