Participate in: Unified Business Intelligence (UBI) Project: Get hands-on experience in our cutting-edge Unified Business Intelligence project. You'll play a key role in transitioning existing reports to our new system, ensuring a seamless integration and accuracy every step of the way. Dive deep into data reconciliation between old and new reports, and track the progress of this transformative initiative.

Be part of PFAM Budget 24/25 project: Step into the heart of financial analysis with our PFAM Budget 24/25 project. You'll be at the forefront of identifying and addressing discrepancies between the 2024 budget and actuals, honing in on product group levels to uncover insights that drive strategic decisions. Your recommendations for next year's budget will directly shape the future trajectory of our organization.

Ongoing Engagements:

Analyze and Advise: Dive into the daily pulse of our operations as you provide insightful analysis on bookings, shipments, rebates, margins, and outlook for the month. Your sharp analysis will be the guiding light for stakeholders, aiding them in making informed decisions.

Forecast and Navigate: Become a forecasting maestro as you predict bookings, shipments, and margins on a monthly basis. Unravel variances from previous months and elucidate their impact on the near future, steering our financial course with confidence.

Data Integration: As alignment on forecasts is achieved, you'll take the reins in loading data into our financial system, ensuring seamless integration and accuracy across the board.

Based on the above-mentioned recurring and ad hoc activities, we support to the business (therewith solving problems and answering queries), challenge ‘facts’, and seek opportunities to increase our sales and margin. A strong business understanding is key to grow in your role and to grow within the company.

The EMEA FP&A team is an international and diverse group of currently 8 team players. We all have our specialties and focus areas but there is a lot of interaction and support between each other. We are dynamic and innovative, are used to working with deadlines, but also find the time to have fun.

Requirements

Enrolled in a Dutch university for the duration of the internship

Studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the area of Data Analytics

Knowledge of Excel is required, knowledge of Power BI and/or OBI (Oracle Business Intelligence) is preferred.
