Job Description
As a Python Automation Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for infrastructure and application environments.
  
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Azure DevOps.
  
• Develop scalable automation scripts and tools using Python.
  
• Create and maintain Docker-based containerized solutions.
  
• Integrate enterprise applications and platforms using REST APIs.
  
• Troubleshoot Linux systems and resolve automation-related issues.
  
• Collaborate with Product Owners to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  
• Prepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation for automation initiatives.
  
• Work closely with stakeholders during user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure successful delivery.
  
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and execution.
  
• Continuously improve deployment processes and automation frameworks.
  
• Support infrastructure automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Python development with a strong focus on automation.
  
• Proven experience in infrastructure and DevOps automation.
  
• Strong expertise in building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Experience working with Azure DevOps for build and release automation.
  
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Experience in Shell scripting for automation and system management.
  
• Knowledge of REST API development and third-party API integrations.
  
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts; Terraform experience is an advantage.
  
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  

You should possess the ability to:

• Independently design and implement end-to-end automation solutions.
  
• Develop, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and Azure DevOps.
  
• Estimate development efforts accurately based on product backlog requirements.
  
• Prepare and present HLDs, LLDs, and technical solution proposals.
  
• Influence architectural and design decisions through technical expertise.
  
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
  
• Build reusable Python automation frameworks for infrastructure and application deployment.
  
• Integrate enterprise applications using REST APIs and automation workflows.
  
• Troubleshoot complex Linux, pipeline, and deployment issues efficiently.
  
• Work on multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining delivery quality.
  
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities in Agile project environments.
  
• Ensure automation solutions follow best practices for scalability, security, and maintainability.
