Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Corporate Recruiter to join our progressive HR team within a large, complex public sector organization. In this role, you will make a concrete contribution to the further professionalization of our talent acquisition services, aligning recruitment strategies with current and future labour market demands to attract top talent for unique organizational challenges.

As a key sparring partner for hiring managers and HR colleagues, you will lead the recruitment and selection process for permanent staff, ensuring an inclusive, efficient, and high-quality experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

As a Corporate Recruiter, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle and drive talent acquisition initiatives:

  • Intake & Strategy: Conduct detailed intake interviews with hiring managers to understand vacancy requirements, advise on sourcing strategies, and establish clear process agreements.
  • Tailored Sourcing Proposals: Design bespoke recruitment strategies tailored to specific target groups, seniority levels, and unique hiring challenges.
  • Inclusive Writing: Advise on, edit, and co-write engaging, inclusive, and market-standard job descriptions.
  • Talent Sourcing & Branding: Utilize direct and indirect sourcing methodologies to identify suitable candidates while actively strengthening and promoting the organization's employer brand.
  • Candidate Experience & Selection: Screen CVs, conduct initial evaluations, and deliver a high-quality shortlist of candidates to hiring managers while ensuring a smooth, positive candidate journey.
  • Data-Driven Recruitment: Utilize various social media channels and digital tools, leveraging recruitment data to continuously optimize and adapt sourcing strategies.

Department & Team Collaboration

You will join an integrated HR department consisting of HR Business Partners, Corporate Recruiters, Campus Recruiters, Labor Market Communication Advisors, Absenteeism Specialists, and Development and Career Specialists. Together, this team supports the entire employee journey—from talent attraction to long-term sustainable employability.

Within the talent acquisition team, you will collaborate closely with peers, share workloads during peak times, and interact frequently with leadership and HR stakeholders across a large-scale matrix organization.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must bring a balance of recruitment expertise, consultative skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Education & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree (Higher Professional or University education level).
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Corporate Recruiter within a large, complex, or public sector organization.
  • Sector Knowledge: Demonstrable experience managing higher-level vacancies (Bachelor/Master equivalent) within the social, public, or non-profit sectors, with a proven track record of recruiting for labor-shortage occupational groups.

Competencies & Skills

  • Advisory Skills: Service-oriented professional capable of acting as an excellent advisor at both operational and tactical levels.
  • Influencing & Persuasion: Strong communication skills with the ability to substantively guide hiring managers through the rationale of your recruitment proposals and secure buy-in.
  • Collaboration: A team-first attitude, with a willingness to share knowledge, support colleagues, and collaboratively manage departmental workflows.
  • Digital Proficiency: Tech-savvy and data-driven, with extensive experience leveraging social media channels and modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for talent acquisition.

What We Offer

  • A meaningful role with the space to make a tangible impact on the community and organization.
  • A collaborative, professional, and informal working atmosphere.
  • A strong commitment to healthy work-life balance and sustainable employability.
