Contract: Uren: Salaris:

Job description

**EU right to work needed to apply**

Join a leading international general contractor with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-value construction projects across Europe. As part of their continued growth in the data centre sector, they are seeking an experienced Senior CSA Quantity Surveyor to support the successful delivery of a major data centre development in Eemshaven.

This is a key opportunity to work within one of the most dynamic and rapidly expanding sectors in construction, supporting the commercial delivery of technically complex projects as part of a high-performing team.

As a CSA Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the financial and contractual management of the civil, structural, and architectural elements of a large-scale data centre project. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure cost efficiency, programme compliance, and high standards of delivery throughout all CSA works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage CSA cost plans, budgets, and estimates across all phases of the project
  • Lead procurement processes and administer CSA subcontract packages
  • Monitor CSA-related costs and ensure alignment with project budgets and timelines
  • Assess and agree interim valuations, variations, and final accounts with CSA subcontractors
  • Provide commercial support and strategic cost advice to the wider project team
  • Ensure compliance with contract conditions and relevant legal/statutory requirements
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders on CSA cost-related matters
  • Report on CSA cost risks and opportunities in collaboration with the Project Manager

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 4+ years’ post-graduate experience, ideally with a main contractor
  • Strong experience in CSA packages; exposure to data centres or mission-critical facilities is highly advantageous
  • Solid understanding of construction contracts and procurement practices
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Eligibility to work in Germany (EU citizenship or relevant work permit essential)
