About the company

As part of a specialized IT/OT team, you’ll contribute to the development of a secure and integrated maritime technology landscape, helping ensure that onboard systems run reliably and safely

Responsibilities

Ensure reliable operation and integration of IT/OT systems onboard inland vessels

Maintain and troubleshoot shipboard network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, satellite)

Coordinate with external vendors for onboard installations and system upgrades

Keep inventories and documentation of onboard IT/OT assets up to date

Support the implementation of cybersecurity measures, ensuring local safety and compliance requirements are met

Provide technical support to crew and internal teams, and suggest system improvements

Profile

A degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field

Hands-on experience in IT/OT environments, ideally in maritime or industrial settings

Familiarity with virtualization, networking, and cybersecurity concepts

Experience working with external vendors and supporting technical projects

Strong communication and organizational abilities

Fluent in English; Dutch and German are a plus

Willingness to travel regularly to vessels and operational sites; company car provided
