As a logistics employee at GLS in Drachten, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics process during evening shifts. Working in a dynamic and organized environment, you’ll play an active role in ensuring that packages are processed efficiently and reach their destinations on time. This role requires physical activity, teamwork, and attention to detail, making it ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and working collaboratively.

What You Will Do:

• Unloading: packages from trucks and preparing them for processing.
• Sorting: packages based on their destination to ensure accurate delivery.
• Loading: stacking and placing packages into trucks for dispatch.
• Physical tasks: lifting, bending, and other activities that keep you moving.
• Supporting: maintaining a clean and organized workspace through tidying and cleaning tasks.

• Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
• Part-time role of approximately 24 hours per week.
• Fixed evening shifts from 16:00 to 20:30 for stability.
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.

We are seeking an energetic and reliable logistics team member who thrives in a collaborative and active environment.

• VMBO-level education or equivalent.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or English.
• Physically capable of lifting packages up to 23 kg.
• Available Monday to Friday, 16:00 to 20:30
