You will have the freedom and responsibility to attract new clients, create commercial opportunities, and build long-term partnerships. In doing so, you will have a direct impact on the growth of our clients as well as on the growth of Topicus.

Sales Representative & Accountmanager: what your role entails

As a Sales Representative & Account Manager, you will be responsible for the entire commercial process: from the first contact with a potential client to developing a successful long-term partnership.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Proactively approaching potential clients and creating new commercial opportunities.
• Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
• Conducting introductory, consultative, and sales conversations.
• Identifying organizations’ capacity and software development needs.
• Translating client challenges into suitable solutions.
• Preparing and presenting commercial proposals.
• Negotiating contracts and partnership agreements.
• Building, managing, and expanding long-term client relationships.
• Identifying new opportunities within existing accounts.
• Collaborating with internal teams to provide clients with the best possible support.
• Keeping CRM data up to date and driving commercial performance.

You will therefore be responsible not only for winning new clients, but also for growing existing relationships and creating long-term value.

Sales Representative & Accountmanager: what you bring

You are an entrepreneurial and commercially driven professional who gets energy from opening doors, having meaningful conversations, and delivering results. You know how to build trust, understand what clients need, and translate those needs into concrete commercial opportunities.

You also bring:

• Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development.
• A commercial mindset and a strong drive to achieve results.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• The ability to work independently, take initiative, and create opportunities.
• A customer-focused approach and a talent for building long-term relationships.
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
• Preferably, experience and a relevant business network within the IT or offshoring market.
