The OneALM+ programme started in 2017 to improve the Asset and Liability Management (ALM) balance sheet function of the bank to be economically efficient and regulatory compliant. Does this sound boring to you? Think again: ALM is a complex matter and not performed by one department alone, which makes it both very interesting and very challenging. It involves redefining roles and responsibilities, a new ALM IT infrastructure, improved behavioural modelling, enhanced reporting and much more! Departments participating in this programme are the Rabobank Group departments of Risk, Control, Finance and Treasury. Given its strategic importance, OneALM+ is one of the CFO Strategys High-Tech High-Touch Lighthouse Projects.
The Treasury COO office provides business management support for Treasury and OneALM+. It acts as a linking pin between IT & Operations, Finance and Risk, Audit and Compliance globally. The team works closely with Treasury
With you in our OneALM+ programme, we can make the required changes possible. Your expertise to drive and analyse the complexity of the finance and risk data, will fit seamlessly into our team.
Making a difference
ALM is a bit of financial everything that takes place at the centre of the banks EUR 600bln balance sheet, requiring a lot of different skill sets. Analysing, modelling, IT, controlling and financial insight is needed. Of course you will need your communication skills to be able to translate the complex requirements into shared improvements. That is how we can make a difference.
Within the Finance department an application, named ART, is currently in place with the aim of collecting all relevant data from reporting and disclosure those figures to senior management of the bank. The purpose of this small team is to develop, extend and continuously improve the data platform and the powerBI reporting on top of it.
