What are you going to do?

As Operational Manager at Metaal 2000, you are responsible for the daily operations and you lead a group of 45 employees. You translate the company strategy into concrete operational processes and are a valuable sparring partner for the Management Team and board. You have a sharp insight and decisiveness, which you use to shape the future of the company. You have a lot of room to give substance to this function yourself and you act as a connecting pioneer.

Some of the responsibilities that come with this are:

Managing multiple teams, coaching employees and ensuring a safe and productive work environment

Monitor the progress of operational processes and draw up KPIs on which you report with regard to delivery reliability, safety, quality, turnover and costs

Developing and analyzing business activities in order to implement improvements and optimize processes

Collaborate efficiently with multiple departments and disciplines, without losing sight of the set objectives

Determining the strategic course of Metaal 2000, you do this together with the steering group of Ventura and the Management Team

You also have:

You have experience as a manager and have an affinity with the electrical and/or metal industry

You have an HBO thinking/working level

You have completed a business or technical education

You have knowledge of occupational health, quality and safety regulations

You have knowledge of and experience with the use of ERP systems
