For Philips Factory we are looking for Business Process Engineer. In this role, you have the opportunity to be part of the Factory Best Organization in Best which is one of the main Industrial sites for Health Systems within Philips. In this position you are focused on modeling and improving Business Processes related to the manufacturing process and the translation to the related IT tools (SAP). It is possible to work a few days a week from home.

You are responsible for

• Defining and setup Business- and Operations Processes, including the link to the relevant IT systems.
• Enrich master data to ensure proper execution of processes on the shop floor.
• Representing Factory Best in different business area's on IT tools, Aligning with business process expert / business process owner on requirements and business process.
• Providing 2nd line support towards trained users on business ERP/IT related tools.
• Identifying, driving, and supporting continuous improvement within Factory Best Engineering.
• Participating in improvement projects to make sure that the goals with respect to production processes, material flows, workplace design and factory layout are optimally achieved.
• Pro-actively analyzing SAP-data (control plan) and design, elaborate and - after approval - implement ideas to adjust the manufacturing process towards Efficiency and Quality with focus on material flows and workplace design.

You are a part of

the Engineering team in one of the biggest Operations sites for Health Systems, Factory Best. The local team consists of 15 people (Engineering Change Manager, Process Engineers). Our Factory Best organization is driving operational excellence and manufactures, refurbishes and repairs our medical devices & components in a safe, compliant, and effective manner. Next to this the Factory Best team is responsible for the preparation and introduction of changes on products/ components/production processes for released products and receiving and implementing manufacturing transfers from Industrialization engineering.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Bachelor working level
• At least 3 years working experience in an engineering or manufacturing related position.
• Strong knowledge of SAP is required
• Experience of working with quality management and logistic concepts, like JIT (Just in Time), SMOI (Supplier Managed Owned Inventory) is preferred.
• Be able to work with different disciplines and areas and manufacturing units
• Some experience with project management
• Focused on quality and results
• Analytical mindset and work discipline
• Excellent communicational skills
• Eager to learn
• Good communication skills in English
