You are responsible to:
- Drive an optimal balance of supply and demand through integrated planning and effective materials management to maximize performance and profitability.
- Oversees the implementation of new supply chain concepts, systems, and processes (including Lean) within the requirements of the department
- Manage the monthly medium/long term planning process and the monthly supply-demand planning overview to prepare in-time for capacity creation/reduction and the procurement of long-lead- time components.
- Managing multiple interdependencies and business risks related to product introduction activities
- Leading and cooperating with, an integral project team including R&D, engineering, purchasing, quality, logistics,
- Identifying and driving manufacturing/engineering/value chain improvements during product development projects & transfer projects and drive product improvements regarding variety, cost, quality, and failure rate.
- Identifying the impact of new or improved materials on the current supply chain architecture and manufacturing concepts to develop the required architecture and solutions, initiate the deployment, define guidelines, and execute implementation.
- Implement new or changed data configurations into the various systems to enable smooth ordering
- Cooperate with stakeholders to define the supply chain and manufacturing concepts of new production processes with optimal landed costs
- Driving operational excellence of project execution to achieve first time right predictable project execution to achieve world-class results.
