Your responsibilities

• Change and Configuration Management of released parts in the MLD (Maintain Launched Design) scope.
• Execute engineering changes according PDLM procedures.
• Maintain product data including DHF (Design History File) and DMR (Device Master Record) of medical products. Part BOM lists, drawings, masterlist, changes, test results.

To succeed in this role:

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 3-5 years experience in R&D
• Experienced user of Windchill cPLM (common Product Lifecylce Management)
• Quality mindset
• Good communicator and capable to get things done from multiple stakeholders from different professions within Philips. Norm compliance, engineering leads, procurement, supplier quality, packaging.
• Likes to work in an operational atmosphere within R&D according defined processes
• Has affinity with agile and lean.
• Experienced user of Excel is preferred.
• Great communication skills.

Your team

You will be part of the Change Management Team within Product Quality and Maintenance. Organizationally part of the Mechanics Department within Mechatronics Development Cluster of R&D IGT Systems in Best. This Business Unit is responsible for marketing, development and manufacturing of X-Ray systems for cardiac or vascular medical diagnosis and intervention (e.g., balloon angioplasty and stent procedures). Customers are interventional specialists, in the cardiology and radiology domain operating in a wide variety of hospitals across the globe. The R&D organization consists of 450 people, organized around the main functions of the systems that we develop: the image chain, the robotics, the applications and the service and workflow functionality. The Mechatronics Development Cluster is amongst others responsible for the accurate positioning of the patient and imaging equipment. The cluster takes responsibility for all aspects of development including Mechanics, Electronics and Software. We work closely together with several other disciplines within and outside our organization (procurement, operations, service, marketing, quality and regulatory) to ensure the best end to end results. As Mechanical Designer you will be part of the department responsible for User Interfaces, Monitor Ceiling Suspensions, Accessories, System cabling and Cabinets.
