System Test Engineer for system integration BIU IGT Systems - Philips Healthcare
Your challenge
Working in a multi-disciplinary project team integrating and verifying that new product introductions and maintenance releases work as specified, for the Azurion and Allura X-Ray product families. Take initiative to integrate new software baseline(s) by applying your analytical skills, test capabilities, (medical) domain knowledge, software knowledge, and inputs from other disciplines (development, validation, clinical application, and marketing). Perform initial root cause analysis in case integration of new software deliverable fails and inform the various disciplines, so the appropriate action(s) can be started to solve it.
Your contribution is essential in integrating new software (and sometimes hardware) baselines for product integration, verification, validation, and release testing on our various system configurations.
Your responsibilities within this system integrator role will include:
o By using test design methods, techniques and tools (ISTQB foundation)
o Applying (medical) domain knowledge and regulatory rules (e.g. FDA, ISO)
Your Team
You will be part of the Business Unit Image Guided Therapy (IGT) systems within Philips Healthcare. This Business Unit is responsible for marketing, service, development and manufacturing of IGT Systems used in the area of cardiac and vascular medical diagnosis and treatment. Your location will be Best in The Netherlands and you will work together with your colleagues in both Best and Bangalore (India). The customers are hospitals, medical specialists and staff. The team that you will be working in has an average size of 8 persons but is part of projects that are typically larger than 20 man years. Those projects host development of new software, electronics, mechatronics, and components. Beside the work in your team, you will strongly collaborate with other teams of 10+ persons (among others: Test & Release Architects, software engineers, system test engineers and test environment engineers).
