*What problems will you solve as a Senior Test Automation Engineer?*

* You work on systems where testing is not a phase, but a core part of engineering:
* Systems where issues only surface under specific timing and load conditions
* Software that is only reliable when testing is right at every level (unit → system)
* Test processes that don’t scale and need to be rethought from the ground up
* Automation that is brittle and needs to be redesigned into robust frameworks
* Complex hardware/software interactions that are difficult to reproduce
* Teams where quality is not yet embedded in the way of working

You operate at a level where testing is not about validation, but about prevention and control.

*What will you actually do as a Senior Test Automation Engineer?*

This is not an execution-focused test role.

* You design and build test architectures and automation frameworks
* You define test strategy and how automation is applied across systems
* You shape how teams think about and implement quality
* You act as a sparring partner for developers and stakeholders
* You structurally improve processes, tooling and ways of working
* You coach engineers and raise the overall quality bar

If you just want to write test cases, this is not your role.
If you want to define into systems, it is

*What are we looking for?*

* 5+ years of experience in test automation within complex (high-tech) environments
* Strong programming skills (C++ and/or Python)
* Experience designing and building test frameworks and strategies
* Familiar with methodologies like TDD, BDD or model-based testing
* Comfortable working with complex systems and abstract problem-solving
* Takes ownership and drives quality decisions
