We do this together with our team of 120 employees, based in Almere, all of whom share an affinity with good nutrition and/or a healthy lifestyle. /ppAs an Automated Intralogistics Project Lead, you will be part of the Engineering and Operations organization, playing a key role in the development and implementation of advanced warehouse automation and internal material handling solutions within strategic factory projects. /ppYou will be responsible for leading projects related to automated storage systems, intralogistics flows, and smart material transfer technologies across the production environment. Your focus will be on designing and implementing future-ready solutions that improve operational efficiency, material traceability, safety, and production continuity. /ppIn this role, you will coordinate all project phases from concept development and system design through supplier selection, installation, commissioning, validation, and handover to operations. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, automation suppliers, integrators, and production teams to ensure successful project execution and seamless system integration. /ppThis is a unique opportunity to contribute to the creation of highly automated and intelligent factory environments using state-of-the-art technologies such as ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems), AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles), AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots), and advanced warehouse management solutions. /ppYour responsibilities include: /pulliTaking a leading role in intralogistics and warehouse automation activities within project teams /liliManaging projects related to automated rack systems, warehouse automation, and factory material flow optimization /liliDriving the design, development, and implementation of ASRS, AGV, and AMR solutions /liliDefining material flow concepts, storage strategies, and logistics workflows for new production facilities /liliCoordinating internal and external stakeholders including Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Automation, IT, Procurement, and Safety teams /liliSupporting supplier selection, technical evaluations, and system integration activities /liliEnsuring proper integration between automation systems, ERP/WMS platforms, and production operations /liliOverseeing installation, testing, commissioning, validation, and start-up activities /liliMonitoring project scope, planning, timelines, budgets, and deliverables /liliIdentifying technical and operational risks and implementing mitigation strategies /liliEnsuring compliance with safety standards, factory regulations, and company engineering standards /liliDriving continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse automation and material handling processes /liliSupporting the development of scalable and future-proof intralogistics concepts /li /ulpWhat we expect from you: /pulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Automation, Logistics, or related fields) /liliMinimum 6–10 years of experience in intralogistics, warehouse automation, or material handling projects within industrial or manufacturing environments /liliProven experience with automated warehouse systems such as ASRS, shuttle systems, high-bay warehouses, or automated rack solutions /liliHands-on experience with AGV and/or AMR technologies and factory material transfer systems /liliExperience leading capital projects from concept design through implementation and operational start-up /liliStrong understanding of warehouse operations, internal logistics flows, and production supply concepts /liliFamiliarity with automation integration, controls, sensors, and smart factory technologies /liliExperience working with WMS, MES, ERP, and SAP systems is considered a strong advantage /liliKnowledge of industrial safety standards related to automated logistics systems and autonomous transport technologies /liliExperience working with external suppliers, system integrators, and contractors /liliStrong analytical, structured, and problem-solving skills /liliAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional project activities /liliFinancial awareness with experience in project budgeting and cost control /liliStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority /liliIndependent, proactive, and solution-oriented working style /liliFluent in English (written and spoken) /li /ulpWhat you can expect from us: /pulliA full-time position /liliA market-conform salary /liliBonus 8%, Holiday allowance 8% /lili25 vacation days /lili3 additional leave days scheduled around national holidays /liliDiscount on MCO Health products /liliAttractive green mobility program: great deal on e-bikes with a lease option /liliA wide range of professional training and development programs /liliProfessional working environment, team spirit, company pride and driven colleagues /li /ulpRespect is central to Nestlé’s culture, and an important part of this is embracing differences—among our customers and in our workplace.
