For our Client we are looking for an experienced Interim/Freelance Cloud Security Architect. You will help to address high risk areas and possible security threats or weaknesses. With your influence and inspirations, you will bring positive changes to the security posture through regular engagement and collaboration.

Description

APPLICANTS MUST LIVE IN THE NETHERLANDS!

• Design and develop cloud security architectures and perform architecture design reviews
• Design and develop frameworks and solutions to secure CI/CD pipelines;
• Perform risk assessment of proposed and existing system architecture for compliance with security best practices, recommending technical, administrative and physical controls to mitigate identified risks;
• You work with project managers, information security analysts and the support team to ensure Information Security standards are being followed;
• You are a conduit for service owners to review current system design and security measures You recommend and ensure enhancements are correctly implemented;
• You cooperate with the information security team to ensure knowledge and insights are introduced into the organisation through its information security awareness program;
• You participate in continuous improvement, including collaboration with the information security team to ensure controls remain relevant and updated;
• You act as a trusted advisor to the Security Services Manager, Global Manager Infrastructure & Security and the Global Information Security Manager;
• Implement, maintain and improve existing industry best practices of operational security controls such as:
• Monitoring, Identity and access management, Encryption and data security, Self-auditing;
• Provide guidance to Innovation and Product Management on defining and prioritising development of secure SaaS offerings;
• Prepare and deliver training and security awareness activities to the Engineering teams;
• Acquire relevant knowledge, remain up to date, attend security conferences and be involved with the security community;
• Drive and lead security processes, tools, methods, and knowledge and security enhancements.
